Small Business

The SLAC Small Business Program provides opportunities for small business suppliers to obtain Laboratory contracts for goods and services.  It is SLAC’s policy to provide opportunities to small business concerns, HUBZone small business concerns, small disadvantaged business concerns, women-owned small business concerns, veteran-owned small business concerns and service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns which is consistent with the efficient performance of its prime contract with the Department of Energy.

In fiscal year 2022 SLAC’s procurement obligations to small businesses and socioeconomic reportable spend totaled $100,147,787 representing 62.86 percent of our total procurement spend. Contracting opportunities for small businesses continue to be a key part of SLAC’s socioeconomic goal. Our fiscal year 2023 small business goal is 50% of our total procurement obligations.
